New-fashioned rooms with big windows and extremely helpful and exceptionally attentive staff. Rich and delicious breakfast with an omelet station, Polish bread plus freshly cooked eggs and stunning location.

The old buildings have been beautifully restored and the hotel is ideally located for sightseeing being just a few yards off the main city square.
Modern decor is nice but I would like better lights for reading in the room. Also it would be good to have coffee / tea making facilities in the rooms.

On arrival I was upgraded which was very impressive and appreciated as staying in hotel for a special occasion. I loved being on the 6th floor which is bright due to glass roof and walls plus it has easy access to the bar facility on roof. Breakfast was excellent and hotel as internet available 24/7. Also staff left me keep room til 6p.m as my flight was not until 9p.m
1. Each morning I had to ask staff to go look for English breakfast tea and each morning this was somewhat of a problem - they either found last one or none. I do not drink alternative flavours so I went without and had a orange juice instead.2. The taxi order to collect my friend could not be found at airport. My friend looked for her name, she was first out off the plane as she only had hand luggage. She waited 1 hour before getting an alternative taxi at airport which was cheap than quoted by hotel. We complained and we told taxt was there but not find her. Not so and receptionist said that is not the first time this has happened.

no effort made to promote their bar at all. female barmaid was very short and sharp.

Great location near main square. Historic building with great renovation design that has character. Very nice room with solid wooden furniture. Comfortabe bed. A double room that actually provided sensible space for two suitcases (only 1 of 6 hotels we stayed in during vacation).
Only minor quibbles: Light switches for bed lamps are are too high. Items on bar menu actually not available. Was expecting pool to be warmer.

We did not need to think about anything related to our lodging or breakfast for the entire trip. Hotel Stary took excellent care of every possible need. I will stay there every time I'm in Krakow.

Fine Stay in the Heart of the Old Town
With a location just 67 steps from the bustling central market square, this aesthetic gem boasts unique architecture and spacious rooms. The spa is a good retreat, and the exemplary staff enhance the experience. Breakfast options are plentiful, but noise can occasionally disrupt the tranquility. A mix of luxury and charm makes it lovely.

The food was lovely and very resonably priced,b reakfast was great. The hotel is only a 2 star but feels like a 4 star. Very relaxed but professional. A short walk into town which took 20 minutes. I would stay agin.
The only down side was no air con in the room, it was 35+. We did manage to have the use of a fan which helped.

Great location but no athmosphere. Was woken at 7am on first morning there by workmen. WiFi wouldnt work. Network points in room didnt work either so after some discussion we had to move room. Ok but not 5 star.

Loved the rooftop bar with fine views and delicious drinks. The spa area was a nice retreat for the family after exploring. Plus, it was great having our non-service dog with us in this centrally located hotel.
My kids wished the pool area had more family-friendly activities.

We liked its location and breakfasts
The safe did not work and although this was reported, nothing was done. Room 201 had an entrance door which did not close properly. The lighting of the room was a nightmare. The position of the bed up against a wall was bizarre.
